Oh No Not Again|POSTPUNK BASICS 2: Atmosphere Episode
This may be my best / favorite show yet. It has all of the traits of various shades of Postpunk in one show. The theme may or may not refer to the Joy Division song ( though no JD in this episode). Instead you will find rare jems like Department S, named for a TV spy show, The Raincoats, from their CD Oddyshape, and Crispy Ambulance, Blue Orchids, and Comsat Angels. Listen to the variety of guitar sounds, and then ask yourself what makes a song postpunk? Let me know what you think.
