The best way to experience music is live and in person, second best is on album and well third best is through some type of media; at least in my opinion. For this cast we are eternally grateful to the rbally.net types who go out of their way to post and share some of the best indie and alternative music of our times (1960-00's). So this cast is dedicated to his persistence and taste for which a lot music would be most impossible to come by in particular since so much quality is lost to certain bootlegs, as anybody can dress up a turd, but capturing an era of a band on tape and archiving is just as important as being able to say "I was there". So up in this here podcast you will find these live bands in their prime: The Flaming Lips @ SXSW 2006, Guided by Voices @ the 40 Watt, GA, The Jesus and Mary Chain from 1987, The Cure, The Smiths, Wilco, Jeff Tweedy, Chris Hartford, Afghan Whigs in Sweden, The Pixies live on Emerson College radio, Fugazi circa 1999 and Nirvana in Amsterdam before "punk freakin' broke".
