The Palm OS Minute Podcast|Palm OS Minute #3 September 5th, 2005 Episode
Do I really need to Purchase a New Palm OS device?Show Time: 01:00 minShow Size: 300790 KBIn the cast, Carl Brooks asks, "Do I really need to Purchase a New Palm OS device? Is my current device truly inadequate or am I just trying to keep up with the Joneses? Are the all those great features I keep hearing about, really worth the price? No I need a Smart phone? A camera? Do I need an expansion card, an integrated hard drive, WIFI or Bluetooth? Are there ways to upgrade my existing device? What device do I think I would need or like? Where can I find additional and unbiased information about that device? Find others who use the device. Find out why they go it and for what uses. Is there additional software needed to really benefit from the device and if so what is the price for the software? If I did upgrade or purchase a new one, would I really use it to the fullest? If I did, can someone in my family use my old device or can I sell it to subsidize my new purchase? Do not spend money on features that you will not use. A little research will save you both time and money."
