Visions of the Future|Google launches Blogsearch (RSS Serach) Episode
Google today released there blogsearch beta...It can be accessed in four waysblogsearch.google.com(interface in Google-style)search.blogger.com(interface in Blogger-styl)TheBlogger-dashboardThenavigationbarin blogs (Blog*Spot)I'm a bit disappointment. You can only sort on relevance and date. And yes, you can filter with the standard 'advanced search' functionality,The standard operators from Google work hereto:link:site:intitle:Ans they added some extra operators for blogsearch:inblogtitle:inposttitle:inpostauthor:blogurl:The weird thing is:The search implementation doesn't work as expected and the RSSimplementation looks good. I expected it to be the other way aroundwith Google!A search for 'scobleizer' doen't result in blogposts of Robert Scobe...It results in a 'related blog', that's isn't his main blog..Some other searches i did, where not always resulting in the blogs i was looking for..And then then the RSS implementation. It took Google some time...They did it pretty much the same way as MSN Search.Subscribe: Atom (10 results-100 results) RSS (10 results-100 results)It works.. And it does the trick..I curious how long it will take to get this functionality in the normal Google search...
