It's All About Marta (and me)|It's All About Marta (and me) Episode #022 Episode
Travis, from the UnRadio Show (http://theunradioshow.podomatic.com), starts this episode off by telling Marta and Ken how much he enjoys listening their show while he sleeps. Is that a compliment? Listen as Travis tries to dig himself out of this one. That's why we love Travis and UnRadio.
Before the Bout kicks off, Marta meets up with Paul from Comcast. They network a deal for potential sponsorship of the league for next season. This is funny since neither of us is currently associated with the Rose City Rollers (http://www.rosecityrollers.com). Keep your eyes on the term 'currently' as that may change! The Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers (http://www.lastregiment.com) kicks off the Bout. Thanks to Greg and the group for permission to use their beats! Ken calls them; "The loudest damn drums in the world."
"Online Romance" sings the National Anthem, followed by more incredibly loud drumming. First up, the High Rollers take on the undefeated Heartless Heathers during the first quarter of this bout.
Marta updates Paul on our status with networking. She manages to find time to tell Paul how hot she thinks his wife is. Oy. How sweet!
Our favorite skaters, the Break Neck Betties take on the Guns 'N Rollers next. You'll feel the excitement of the bout as Marta and Ken cheer on their girls on quads. Ken enjoys teasing Marta by supporting "Ava-Sk8trix." Marta likes Ava too. But, she's afraid of Ava's large-scale girlfriend. Ken can't help but rub it in!
At the end of this episode, there is a brief segment of Mitchell from the Mediocre Show (http://www.mediocreshow.com). It's self explanatory!
