The birth of Petsonboard.com, Brain child of James A. Donnelly in 1996, for one of the first online pet adoption website. Donnelly got the idea after adopting his first dog Nikki from the SPCA (1995), then his 2nd dog Dempsey (1997) also from the SPCA. Both Dogs are still living, they are in the PetsOnBoard logo.
