If I was the motivational speaker at an e-commerce seminar, I would lose half my crowd after I told everybody this: "You must design, write, and control your own website." If any of my "flock" stuck around after that revelation, I could watch their enthusiasm continue to fade as I told them that learning to use an HTML Editor is essential. Their enthusiasm would go right into the toilet as I told them they must register their own domain name, learn to use a File Transfer Protocol program, and even some HTML code. Anyone that remained with me would learn that only after these steps are accomplished could the really hard work begin!
