If you are like me you probably have a favorite loop that you like to run around in your neighborhood. This loop is usually between 3 to 5 miles long and you probably feel pretty comfortable running it. When you are not sure of what workout to do, or you are short on time you most likely run that loop. And that’s fine. But as Scott Fliegelman explained when I recently had a chance to sit down and talk with him it’s probably not the best way to break that personal best in your next race. Scott should know.
