It's All About Marta (and me)|It's All About Marta (and me) Episode #016 Episode
Marta has a story to tell about a tornado at her former farmhouse. Then there were the raccoons. We are finally driving to North Portland to pick up the loaner bike and some software. On the way back, she explains the benefit of not using turn signals. For some reason, Marta cannot parallel park with a bike on the rear bike rack. The audio from Ken inside his car and Marta inside hers is unique and rather scary when they say the same things at about the same time.
After dropping the bike, with flat tires, at her apartment, there is the usual call from the Lincoln High School Attendance Line. The interesting part is that Marta has received the call so many times; she can recite the script with the automated system.
Blue Moon was too crowded and too noisy to attempt to do the Mediocre Show promo. We went across the street. No luck there either. Finally, Marta (and me) were off to the Ling Garden. Along the way, Ken received a tutorial on females 'checking out' Marta and straight women experimentation. The atmosphere at the Ling Garden was perfect. No matter, she still could not pull of the simple task.
Marta refused to stop trying. After abundant Saki, she continued to promo attempts on the streets of Northwest Portland. Again, she was 'attacked' by killer rain drops; indicating someone up there does not like her. It's a long listen: but, incredibly funny!
Note that some of the in-car audio is a little rough sounding due to the wonderful Volvo electronics and worn out tire harmonics.
