JONATHAN EDWARDS is a singer/songwriter who is best known for his crossover folk singles "Sunshine" and "Shanty." Born in Minnesota, Jonathan picked up the guitar in high school in the early 60s. He studied art in college but continued to play music. Soon Jonathan was booked to open for acts such as the Allman Brothers Band and B. B. King, and he signed with Capricorn Records. In 1971, his energetic, happy-sounding statement of protest and independence called "Sunshine" earned him a gold record. Jonathan has kept pretty busy lately. Aside from touring and releasing a live CD "Rollin' Along: Live in Holland," he scored the soundtrack for the major motion picture “The Golden Boys” and Media Artists released a documentary of his career, titled “That’s What Our Life Is.” AMY SPEACE is a New York city-based songwriter with a street-smart folk/Americana edge, prompting comparisons to artists like Neko Case, Lucinda Williams and Roseanne Cash. A world-class voice, award-winning songs and an engaging stage presence led the North American Folk Music Alliance to nominate her as their "Emerging Artist of the Year." Folk music icon Judy Collins calls Amy Speace "one of my favorite new songwriters." That led her to sign Amy to Wildflower Records. She has just released her second album for the label titled "The Killer in Me" which finds the songwriter forging into deeper, darker lyrical and musical terrain, borne largely out of her self-imposed isolation during the final separation of her long marriage.
