I interviewed Ed McMahon back in 1995. It was myonly experience with the gentleman and it was aninteresting encounter. He was in town promoting histalent show with Dick Clark. I was just a guy doing amorning show. He shows up and shakes my hand thensits. I crack the mic and Ed starts praising me like nobodies business. He told me how much he enjoyed theshow which he had been listening to for the couple ofdays he was in town. I was completely put at ease bythis entertainment giant. It was one of my more enjoyableinterviews I have ever done. Here was a monster startalking to me like I was someone special.
