IndiePodcasting.com - Hip-Hop/Urban|Froman and the Sausage Committee - "Pole Position" Episode
The Sausage Committee is headlined by none other than Abe Froman, the self proclaimed Sausage King of Chicago. SAUSAGE? Well...the term sausage is used rather loosely, symbolizing one's manhood. His self titled rap group offers nothing but fun and mischief for DJs and club goers.
Opening for such well known Hip-Hop artists as Fat Joe and Jadakiss, Froman generally preps the crowd before the group begins its tirade on stage. "I don't know what it is, but we tend to win crowds over. Ok, it must be the sausage, it's so universal", explains Sir Loin. Also known as Froman and the Sausage Committee or simply Froman, the group's performances are full of energy and life. Each member: Frank Jumbo, Sir Loin, Jack Linx and of course Abe Froman adds to the onstage mystic. Phil Brumant, manager of Chicago's Choices Night Club, has repeatedly invited the group to participate in the venue's showcases as a crowd favorite. Reminiscent of such groups as Digital Underground, Froman's candid tale of fun and mischief is generating street buzz throughout Chicago.
