Traces Of Nuts|ToN Presents Tea and Sympathy Show 1 Episode
A caffeine-charged soap opera about the lives and loves of three Londoners and a Brummie. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 of 6. Cake-fights, international hi-jinx, psycho-analytical frippery and a conclusion. Are we allowed to call this a soap opera? Meet Darren, a guy who's idea of a romantic getaway involves another woman; Tracy, his girlfriend who's ready to snap like Amy Winehouse going cold turkey, only without the etiquette; Marino, the dangerous foreigner (Birmingham) ready to coax her away with sweet nothings; and Clarissa, the romantic-savant who figures back-stabbing, sweet-talking and Machiavellian social deviance are a good foundation for a lasting relationship. Perhaps it is a soap opera after all. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder where the time went and why you weren't doing something more useful ... but feel somehow richer for the experience, better equipped to face life's curve balls. No? Well there is at least a gag or two in there between the sobs and the recriminations. DL.
