As corporate vice president for Microsoft's Human Resources Talent & Organization Capability group, Scott Pitasky is responsible for global staffing, talent management, development, organization capability and aspects of the company’s learning agenda. This broad role includes all efforts to establish Microsoft's employment brand, acquire talent anywhere in the world, and once acquired manage and develop people to achieve their fullest potential. This work spans the employee and manager population up to and including work with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors.
Pitasky came to Microsoft in August 2001, and has served as director, senior director and general manager of MSN, the Server & Tools group and Global Staffing, respectively. In our exclusive Total Picture Radio interview, Scott discusses Microsoft's plan to turn on a global career site this summer.
