After several solo records Boris reunited with former band-mate and guitarist Paul Wood to expand their sound and release a 3 EP series in 2008. Each one of these records embraced differing musical styles, a result that received attention from both Rolling Stone and the CMJ. Today, joined by a revolving cast of guest musicians, Dead Heart Bloom continues to produce albums with a series format in mind. The latest “In Chains” explores a softer, bluesy sound that can be compared to and placed into the same genre as artists as Love As Laughter and Fleet Foxes.
