We have aligned our intention with the lunar cycle, and right now we're being influenced by a lunar eclipse. Our intentionis to be of benefit. We performed Friday night (Feb. 6, 2009) and there was a nice group of people singing with us as we began the session. These are the voices you hear. I recorded the sound healing and put it in my computer to vibrate and tickle. As I was working on the music, I recalled the one hundred thousand songs of Milarepa. I attended teachings by His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche on the text associatd with these songs. So I went to the web and found a recording of the translation of these teachings. I added this voice to three versions of a sound healing piece built around the concept of Mahamudra. The version you find here, Mahamudra Swing, is about exerting no effort as you rest your mind gently in its own awareness.
