<intro music>This is Kore News episode 0. Iām Walt Snider and Iāll be
your host for this brief episode.Kore News is third in an evolution of shows. It started outas a 45-60 minute news segment in our flagship podcast, Kore Philosophy and wehad to cut it down for pacing reasons. It occurred to me that Iād need to make some new shows that were
more relevant to a specific topic.Kore Philosophy is a topic-driven show that deals incontroversial subjects, which has little to do with news. Amongst other domain names, I tried to getKore News.com, but it was not available. Seeing that news is a series ofminiature stories, I called the show Kore Stories and got that domain.In February of 2008, an anonymous fan purchased KoreNewsfrom the previous owner and donated it to the show.In March of 2008, the entire Kore Stories show was moved toKore News with a few exceptions. The first few shows contained explicative andI have found that by recording cleaner, Iāve gained about 40% more audience. So
the first few episodes of what used to be called Kore Stories are no longer
available.My goal is to get the shows out every Saturday, but reallife can sometimes prevent that.The length of each episode may be as little as 10 minutes,but as the shows increase in number, they are tending to get longer, upward toan hour.I sometimes have my family do an intro for me if anyone isaround when I record, and would love to you anyone, whether youāre a podcaster
or not, to offer an intro and include any type of plug you may be interested
inā but please keep it under 20 seconds.Iāll likely be the only host youāll hear but there may a
