After one hundred years of futility the ChicagoBaseball Cubs looked poised to finally break throughand win a championship. Then again I am a Cubs fanso it doesn't surprise me they have faded faster thanthe Beatles on the end of Hey Jude. Swept right out ofthe playoffs by the LA Dodgers of all teams. My Grannywas 89 when she died and never saw the Cubs win. I ambeginning to think it will never happen. Being a Cubs fanwill prepare you for failure. Just like the real world.
