Kaleo Church Spokane Podcast|Unedited: Part Thirteen (Mark 4:21-34) Episode
As we resume our tour of Mark's biography of Jesus we do so by looking at a section that contains a sampling of Jesus' teaching via parables. As we enter them, we find Jesus responding to his friends and enemies who struggle with Jesus' message and demonstration of the kingdom of God. In place of power, coercion, and cultural norms for breaking into the world, Jesus refers to his work in the terms of small and unnoticed, but also as a movement that will most definitely bloom to heights never imagined. As Jesus speaks, he asks us will we listen? Will we allow ourselves to be aligned by this small but big reality? Will we listen, over and over and over again?
