Matinee Movies|Police Patrol (1935) Also known as "Riot Squad" Episode
Tough gangster drama focuses on two police partners who have the hots
for the same dame, a classy babe who happens to be employed by a mob
kingpin. The moll is to lure detective Bob to an apartment. Gangster
Diamond Jareck is lying in wait. Bob instead falls in love with Lil,
who is being courted by detective McCue. Lil is involved in the
kidnapping of a judge's daughter. Lil is being blackmailed by Diamond.
The riot squad frees the kidnap victim and arrests Diamond. Lil is free
to marry Larkin.
