Happy Phantom Podcast|Weekly Spill 2 Episode
So I have 10 listeners according to libsyn. That is way down even from my all time low of 750 I had for happy phantom episodes. I did figure out I was not pinging when posting so I fixed that. I am also going around to directories and registering. That is all new to me the happy phantom podcast predated Itunes podcast support and it got picked up by about 50 directories with out any effort on my part but it seems thing have changed. So please tell any one you think would like the show were to find it.Go a head and skip to page 2 if you are just looking for the preview of next week. So I would normally save my response to feed back till last but sense my response is commentary I will just put it here. Well the good news is even with only 10 listeners I got feed back at all, The bad news is it was a rant about me using the podsafe music network (pmn). The commenter seem to have (like many do) a problem with podshow. For the record I pay for my own hosting at libsyn and am not part of podshow. I how ever can not come up with a reasonable reason to have an issue with podshow. They are doing the same thing as almost every registry out there. The only two things coming close to a litigate issues are the amount of branding on none podshow content on the podshow website and that many of there shows are crap, well lets face it 98% of the 6000+ podcasts are crap so... As for PMN well I just cant see it as any thing other then a good thing all around for content providers and for the artist involved any artist not thinking its a good for them can just not join, same for content providers. The week starts out with the self described Triphop duo Hungry Lucy. This is another band I have just fallen in love with. I just ordered there dvd and will review it here after I get it and have time to watch it. I also left them a little bit of feed back on there site you can go check it out at Hungrylucy.com its on the left side where you to can leave them voice feed back. When you are there check out the great music and podcast as well. ( I post there as happyphantom). Tuesday brings us two songs form the dreamy Adrina Thorpe. Wednesday will have you listening to the funky electronic sound of Ellee Ven. (I recorded the Ven episode and i am not really feeling it I may replace it with something else.)Thursday we slow it back down just a bit with Cameron Ember. We end the week with Buffy the Vampire Slayer soundtrack veterans Velvet Chain. It is a solid line up this week so I am sure you will all like it. Yes all ten of you. Alright one last little bit this week. I listen to a lot of podcast/netcasts. Some are more controversial then others and for the most part I donât really respond to things I disagree with on them. How ever this week I felt the need to respond to some thing said on Yeast Radio. You can check out what I said at http://yeastradio.podshow.com I posted a comment as happy Phantom on show 498. Every thing I said is something I would have said in person and in that way. I can not stand those forums posting internet tuff guys that talk big and make treats they would never make to a persons face. I also find it a wast of my time to try to change some ones mind about things. the only reason I posted that comment was to get it off my chest I yes I do feel better for having submitted that comment. I did refrain from saying any thing about the whole Anji Bee thing. I am a fan of Lovespirals there music and her podcast but what he said about her did not bother me as much other things and Anji Bee seems to know how to post a comment for her self (see her comment that set him off in the first place on YR 493.
