Programme note : 2005 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Harold Arlen. To mark the occasion, this week's programme will feature his wonderful tunes performed by some of the greatest names in jazz. We'll also hear some rare recordings the man himself, singing and at the piano.Technical note : Again this week we have to rely on our trusty backup audio file seeing as our primary recorder didn't recognize the time shift to Daylight Savings Time here in Ottawa.
