When God gets a full, 360 degree look at our hearts, what does He see? Lent is the season of examination. We can boldly open our souls to the searching light of God’s Spirit, not only because He is merciful, but also because He has the power to make us new. Let’s welcome the Spirit of God to examine us and shape us to be more like Jeremiah, a man who both preached and embodied the shalom of God. For each of these next six weeks of Lent, we wll look at a characteristic God saw in Jeremiah and what He is looking for in us, His people.
