Annoying things I noticed about this podcast:I clear my throat way too much, in this totally annoying“ahem” way. I was drinking coffee and it kinda felt like it had burned my throat. I was highly caffeinated during the recording of this podcast.Dangerously high levels.I talked about outside noises way too much. Including seagulls. Why in the world I lowered my voice when I spoke of the family of birds… like they would be insulted, listening in the next room, or something… I have no idea.Excessive use of“um”. Dang! I usually don’t do that… or do I?Songs:In The Key Of C :: Jim NoirAw man! He’s my new fave-y-fave. I’m in love with his album,Tower Of Love.Blow It Out :: The FeaturesDudes. This is totally my song (see title above). This track goes out to all my lovely iPod friends, especially those of you who shop and keep the earphones in. Okay, if you’re not going to dance in front of everyone… well, I hope you’re at least thinking about it. ...Oh my god. No, you say?! What are you? Spawn of Satan?I Bleed :: The PixiesOh yeah, people. Best part: Prithee my dear. Why are we here. Nobody knows. We go to sleep. I love singing the“No-Bo-dy knows” part.I Confess :: The English BeatI hope some of you remember this song. And if you do, sing along with me, k? ... not feeling it now? That’s cool.Save it for later. Haha. We’ll have some wine. It’ll be fun.Ringing Bells :: Mando Diaofrom the album,Hurricane Bar. This is one of the slower, mellow tracks. You know, I hear they’re huge in Japan.Queen of the Savages :: The Magnetic FieldsIt came on randomly. I love this song.Grace Cathedral Hill :: The DecemberistsfromCastaways and Cutouts. I heart this song so much. I couldn’t stop listening to it the other night on repeat. Don’t you just love it when that happens? I always have these music moments like that. . . kinda like bonding, or something… but with an mp3.I hope everyone has a terrific weekend and week.
