Well, There's no denying that 2008 started off with a real bang..with some of the massive parties that some of us are STILL trying to shake off hangovers for. Fortunately for myself (and listeners), my first episode of 2008 began a good week and a half after the new year, providing a solid start to some fresh sounds and guests that are going to be hitting the airwaves !
The first hour was orchestrated by Eyekon, who (using a brand new mix recording software) provided a live FULLY ANALOG STEREO recording of tribal electro house goodies, incorporating the sounds from artists like Austin Leeds, Nino Anthony, local artist and vocalist Michael M, Starkillers, and even breakbeats producer "Hybrid". The result is a hard hitting tribal tech set which seeks to put tha tboom in your speaker like only a miami style dj can!
The second hour was brought to you by the label TEKELEC, owned and operated by artist/dj/producer Ali Wilson. This is the 1st of 2 guest mixes provided by the tech house/ tech trance label, which has crossed paths with every major dj in the industry..from Armin Van Buuren, to Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and even DOORN label owner and top notch techtrance dj Sander Van Doorn. Be on the lookout for some massive remixes done by Ali for artists Coldplay, Lock 'N Load, Lange, and many more.
