CeBIT Australia: Official Blog|Da Vinci touches Wacom at CeBIT Episode
Being a fan of Tablets today I decided to chat to Wacom Australia. I had one burning question that will finally settle a contentious topic in the blogosphere - how do you pronounce Wacom? Listen to the General Manager; he’ll do it because I can’t. ;-)As I breezed into their stand it became evident that Wacom are an experienced campaigner at the CeBIT Fairs. Not only did their stand have the luminance of an art studio, but with the very attractive feature of an “open plan” display (no outer walls) the stand was accessible on all four sides. One clever feature of the stand was that it provided visitors with product demonstrations at arms length, no matter where you stood.I made my way to the 21” Wacom LCD Display and found David Spencer, the Managing Director of Wacom Australia, blissfully replicating artwork in world-class manner. It seems that when you combine a Wacom Tablet, with Corel Software, the holder of the Stylus becomes enabled with super human powers.Watch this entertaining video as it appears that unlocking the secret to replicating artworks of Da Vinci quality is only a Wacom away. Another key product was Tablet over bluetooth, very very cool.
