香港苏富比拍卖行近日宣布，澳门赌王何鸿燊博士以6910万港元的创纪录价格，成功购入圆明园十二生肖喷泉的马首铜像，并决定将铜像捐赠给国家。该文物原属圆明园，是清代被掠夺的珍贵文物，该铜像原定在今年十月在苏富比拍卖，经过努力，原藏者在拍卖前同意将铜像出售给何博士。这项交易刷新了中国清代雕像的世界最高成交价。中国国家文物局表示，“很高兴看到流失海外近一个半世纪的马首铜像回归故里，我们对何先生的爱国行为表示高度赞扬和衷心感谢。” 2000年，圆明园虎首、牛首和猴首三件铜像分别出现在香港拍卖会，最终被保利艺术博物馆购买回国；此后，猪首铜像也在美国出现，由何鸿燊先生花600万港元购得并捐赠保利博物馆。 [本文参考] http://news.sina.com.cn/c/2007-09-20/145912605057s.shtml
