How could I do this show and not do a video from Manowar, the kings of american heavy metal? So many songs/videos to choose from but in the end it just had to be Hail and Kill. Manowar is an American heavy metal band from Auburn, New York, which formed in 1980 . They are known for creating lyrics with a very heavy emphasis on fantastic and mythologic topics.Manowar are: (left to right)Scott Columbus - drums and percussion Eric Adams - vocals Joey DeMaio - bass guitars / guitars / keyboards / classical guitar Karl Logan - guitars / keyboards / classical guitar Former members include:(THE LEGENDARY!) Ross The Boss - guitarsRhino - drumsThe story goes that Joey DeMaio was working as a pyro guy for Black Sabbath in the late 70's where he met Ross The Boss who was playing in Shakin Street. They decided to get together, picked up Eric Adams and Donny Hamzik and formed Manowar in 1980. The dropped their first album "Battle Hymns" and the rest is history. Fun Facts:* Manowar owns and runs its entire operation from recording to media production to their own label, Magic Circle Music. They do this so they don't have to compromise their music and to give their highest quality products to fans. * During an interview when asked what he thought about Metallica, Joey DeMaio replied, "I'm sorry, I don't listen to country music."
