With the assitance of Marianne Schultz, we were able to interview Kerry Simon of Simon's Kitchen and Bar in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Kerry just won as the challenger on Iron Chef America. And, he is slated to open a new restaurant on Maui next year.There is lots of news this week including Aloun Farms, Auntie Pasto's and the Third Annual Race for Rice fundraising effort which united Jamba Juice and the Hawaii Foodbank. New Italian Chain Restaurant Romano's Macaroni Grill is coming to Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Sullivan Family of Companies opens two Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf locations on Oahu.
