Mac Tonnies is an author on weird and/or subversive ideas and bleeding-edge art and science and maintains "Posthuman Blues," a blog devoted to emerging technologies and paranormal phenomena. His popular book "After the Martian Apocalypse" is a speculative examination of the possibilities of extraterrestrial intelligence on Mars. He is also the author of the short story cyber-punk collection titled "Illumined Black and Other Adventures", which was published while Tonnies was still in high school. Tonnies has recently received considerable attention with his "cryptoterrestrial" theory on the origins of UFOs. Mac discuss with host Tim Swartz how UFOs, rather than being extraterrestrial, may exist right here on Earth, possibly hidden in remote and unexplored areas of the globe.
