Home Recording Odyssey|HRO 35 - Flying Fox Studio - Side Chains - Band in a Box - Episode
This week is a packed show. Dave talkes about his collaboration with Tony Butterworth from the: Home Made Hit Show. We have a guest segment about Band In A Box from Bill Mecca who is a voice over Talent and Sax Player.I do a couple of short segments, one on the use of Side Chains for Ducking and whatever the opposite of that is :-) and a segment on recording a blues track using a very basic Tascam HDD recorder with no effects or plugs other then those available in my guitar pedal and Phonic Mixer. We also discuss what I learnt working in a Professional Studio called Flying Fox Studios in Wagga Wagga.
This is Peter Tiller, Bass, Mandolin and Reluctant Vocals
Grant Luhrs, Studio Owner, Lead Vocals & Acoustic
Col, Lead & Electric Guitar and Dobro
This is the Tascam Desk and Mackie HDR2496 used in the Studio:
In the background of the first 3 shots you can see the Bright Room, furthest away and the dead room closest.
Hope you enjoy the show, it will be up by the end of Monday Zulu Time.Andrew
