This podcast is in Hindi. So heres the gist of the show in English.Jai Mata Di. It is said that until Goddess Vaishno Devi does not call you, you cannot have her Darshan no matter how hard you try. From Jammu lots of Taxis and Bus Service are available till Katra. Book your hotels rooms here. We stayed in Hotel Nek. The Room Rates were Rs.800 for a double Bed room. The same room would cost you Rs.2500 in peak season. Best time to start your yatra is early in the morning. Obtain the registration slip and proceed towards the Bhavan from Baan Ganga. 14 kms of walk to Bhavan is enchanting. If you are not able to walk you can hire a horse(costs Rs.250 one way) or a palki(Rs.2500 onwards depending on the weight) or even reach there through helicopter(Rs.2500 per Ticket).It took us 5 hours from Baan Ganga to reach Bhavan. Have a holy bath at Ganga Ghat and proceed for Darshan.
