A stage for the undiscovered, unsigned, artist to showcase what they do(those making "art" for the world without benefit of big business backing)is what INDIE'S URBAN WORLD is all about...it's where we live. As the show has grown, we've found that our focus has shifted, as the needs of those who listen and support us have been presented with great clarity. We're seeing a need to offer more than entertainment to our audience. We're spotlighting other areas of interest that(directly or indirectly) affect the daily lives of those living within the urban areas of our listening audience...ie:news, business, politics, religion, etc. We will have guests on that explain and inform. Our aim is to highlight all things ment to expand, enlighten and enrich...lives, minds and hearts.
Our emphisis is now (and always will be) the independent artist...and, we'll seek out and deliver all the best that dwells there. If you enjoy anything offered by any of our guests, we'll provide you with information so that you may contact them directly; for connecting, participating, purchasing purposes, etc.
If your talent exemplifies and is born out of the urban experience...you are what this program is all about. This show airs twice weekly(every Wed.and Sat.@6pm cst) We solicit and welcome comments from our listeners...call us up at (646) 595-4713. Now...get comfortable, relax and enjoy the show. We're here to bring you all the best that the INDIE world has to offer....
