I swear I did nothing wrong

This was from last year, I had this thing about not doing weird timings for about 3 months, and then one saturday morning I woke up and really wanted to play something in 7/8. At first it was just an exercise but it turned into something a little better than that.The chorus is wicked, the singing in the verse is not so great, not terrible, and you should know I spared you the worst singing, it was muted.The mixing is not so great, um, what else... enjoy?Oh, and any cool synth sounds were played ...

From start to finish in one Monday night. I had thoughts of Iggy Pop and Annie and testing out my computer by recording something at 24/96. It just scraped through. I missed writing songs like this, ie. walking in to the room with no ideas at all. Putting things down and adding to them until you're fully involved in your latest masterpiece.
