The warm weather and West wind have blown the ice that was accumulated on the western shores of Lake Michigan miles out into the lake. I wonder what would happen if the warmup stops and the wind shifts to the East. That might cause a cool ice pile-up on the shores... probably too late in the season for that to happen....

Zoom H4 - short review summary - recorded samples...
For the last 6 months Soul Amp has used the Zoom H4 for recording nearly everything we have played (including a bar gig). Using a tri-pod we have used it to record a bunch of stuff nearly all of it at 24 bit. I've even used the Zoom H4 to record nature sounds including using the Zoom H4 to record thunderclaps and birds and cars driving by. Millipedes
This is the attack of the millipedes. Last week hundreds of these relatively, harmless (they mostly eat dead leaves) little creatures with all their little tiny legs and hard shell exoskeltons invaded my garage. Wine Glass Music
Last week Brad and I were sitting around the kitchen table and started goofing with some wine glasses (tapping them and getting them to sing by rubbing them with our fingers). A song for a Monday...
There are two versions of this song about daily life in the corporate slog.The first version is one of Brad and my first recordings. We didn't have a drummer or bass player at the time and so we used an old Yamaha RX-11 drum machine.
